5th Annual Soup'er Saturday

       As part of the celebration of Scarborough Retirement Centre's 20th Anniversary, our 5th Annual Soup'er Saturday was held on February 20, 2010.  Record numbers of visitors from the community attended to sample and vote on their favourite soup.  Eight restaurants from the community were given the chance to make their best soup and have the 'people' vote for the 'People's Choice'.  The soups were all incredibly delicious and donations ($2 entrance donation) and some proceeds from the raffle were all forwarded to The Arthritis Society.  We raised $1145.00  for the Arthritis Society and everyone went away content that their tummies were full and it was all for a great cause.  Happy Anniversary Scarborough Retirement Centre!
